SB1000 BLAST CABINET
The most widely used method of cabinet blasting is the Suction System. This design combines the advantages of minimal compressed air requirements, standard mesh media and simple operating techniques. This system provides a particularly economical answer to most blasting applications.
This cabinet features an air hose and material hose attached to an assembly commonly referred to as a Suction Gun.
The Suction Gun contains an air jet through which compressed air is propelled at high velocity, causing a vacuum in the material line.
The end of the material line is inserted into the pickup assembly at the base of the cabinet hopper.
The dry media is sucked into the line, enters the mixing chamber of the suction gun and is propelled through the blast nozzle at the work surface. After the blast flow strikes the work object, the spent media drops into the hopper at the bottom of the cabinet and is recycled. Fine particulate matter and residue is carried off the vacuum system of the dust collector.
A wide variety of media can be used in our Suction Cabinets, such as glass garnet, Aluminium oxide, and fine steel abrasives.
