Hinged lid covers main operating tray, which has a central drain, cleaning brush, and perforated metal drip tray. The drip tray clips over the edge of the main tray, to enable smaller components to be safely washed or dried.
Fluid flows through brush when power is activated, via a submerged pump, at low pressure, thus a continual stream of clean solvent is available to wash away dirt, grease and contamination.
Fluid – once used in bath flows into central drain and first filter stage. This filter is cylindrical and perforated, removable from the tray, and is designed to catch larger particles. Under this filter settling tray is positioned to receive used solvent and providing a “settling” effect for sediment. This tray is removed for cleaning by unclipping from holding drum (access from open back). The third filtering medium is carried out in the removable drum, also accessed from the rear of the unit. This drum carries the pump and pump stand, internally, but has sufficient feed hose and power cable to enable it to be slid clear of the housing. The drum contains water in base and solvent floating on top. The pump – a submersible type– sits on its housing pedestal high in drum so pickup recovers only lean fluid: - The sediment settles in water trap.
Power supply is affected by plugging in a standard single-phase extension – 230 volt to externally side-mounted socket. On/Off switch is on the same side of cabinet. Lid has stays to keep lid raised when unit is in use.
