Base Hoppers
Sited at the base of the Bucket Elevator, the Hopper provides the collection point for the reclaimed abrasive. The Hopper has sloping sides allowing abrasive to flow under gravity to the base of the Bucket Elevator. Provision is made for rapid removal of the Hopper if this is required.
Abrasive Elevator
A rubber Belt and Steel Bucket type Elevator is fitted to convey the spent abrasive and contaminates to the air wash separator. Take up for the Elevator belt is provided at the head pulley. The head shaft of the Elevator is driven via a 0.75 hp motor and reduction gearbox, transferring the abrasive discharged from the Elevator to the air wash.
Separator
A baffle provided in the separator chamber assures an even distribution of abrasive across the full width of the separator, with the abrasive filling in its natural angle of repose. This allows the ventilation air to act on the full width of the thin evenly distributed abrasive curtain, thus pulling the useless fine materials to the refuse side of the separator. The usable air washed abrasive then drops into the integral Hopper, located below the separator, from which it is fed to the blast pot.
Safety Devices
All exposed power drives on this equipment are protected with safety guards, which comply with standard safety requirements.
All service and inspection points are fitted with service doors of adequate size for maintenance.
Electrics
All control equipment shall be supplied for DOL starting.
Air Motor Option
Optional air motor driven Elevator requires 10 CFM of clean compressed air.
