Dual Blast Machine
The trailer mounted Dual Blast Machine system is designed for yard or site use for up to 4 operators with maxim production output.
A heavy duty 4.5 Tonne tandem trailer with Two (2) only 1028 litre capacity blast machines bolted directly to the chassis. Each Blast machine is equipped with an automatic filling valve and weather cover. This is where it receives the charge of abrasive. Two Thompson feed valves for accurate adjustment of the abrasive flow and 40 mm air inlet valves control the flow of air to the blast nozzle. Note these valves can be set up for an air only blow off system by utilizing a dual control system (please consult ABSS if required). 38mm pusher lines with choke valves are fitted to each.
Each control system is fitted with a Dead Man Handle that prevents the flow of abrasive and air to the nozzle when released or dropped in case of an emergency, for operator safety. Pressurization of the hoppers is controlled manually by individual air entry ball valves.
A manifold is fitted to each blast machine coming from this manifold is two pusher lines and pop up valve connection. The manifold is fitted with a ball valve to isolate the blast pot.
A single moisture separator is fitted to the draw bar of the trailer a high volume (2000cfm) 2” BSP connection with isolation ball valve is provided for compressed air connection. Air is supplied from the moisture separator to the blast machine manifolds.
Two access ladders are provided (one each side of the trailer) for access to the top mounted fill point.
Thompson valves are fitted with isolation ball valves for ease of maintenance.
The ABSS Dual Blast Machine System is designed to run four operators continuously using ½” Blast Nozzles.
All vessels are rated at 150psi working pressure.
Lifting lugs are provided on each vessel to lift individually or to lift the entire system. (Note system should not be lifted loaded with abrasive).
All pipe work, hoses and fittings are designed to ensure minimum pressure drop of compressed air and are a minimum of 1 ½” nominal bore.
Machines are finished in two coats of hammer tone teal green paint.
Two vessels mounted on a rugged yard
trailer with wide tyres suitable for sand.
Tow eye for easy movement.
Trailer jockey wheels (3) front and rear for
stability.
Ladder access to vessel load funnel and lid.
Air receiver / pre dryer, hard plumbed to each
vessel.
50 mm hard plumbing to each vessel.
Lifting lugs and top and bottom inspecting
access to vessel internals.
Vessel manifold with:-40 mm piping to each
feed valve.
40 mm Inlet valves
Dead man control connections with stop taps.
Breathing air outlets with stop tap.
Inlet air control ball valve.
Manifold pressure gauge.
Inline choke valves.
Two extra ¼” BSP air supply points.
One extra 1 1/2” BSP air supply point.
Two 11/2” Contractor abrasive feed
valves fitted to each vessel, providing
blast
on/off without depressurizing the vessel.
Ball valves and barrel unions fitted
between vessel and valves for ease of
isolation and servicing.
Hose balance line with heavey duty clamps.
