The Syntech “Zapper” model blast gun is a precision piece of equipment with pressure and suction hose connections located to provide the operator freedom of use without becoming entangled by hose leads. With a few simple precautions this gun will provide trouble free operation within the life of the Tungsten Carbide Nozzle. Regular cleaning of the air nozzle and inner chamber of the gun body will prevent erosion of the aluminium casting by misdirected abrasive media. It is recommended that the air nozzle is rotated 90 degrees periodically to prevent excess wear at the point where the abrasive enters the chamber prior to its exit through the blast nozzle. This is simply done by loosening the grub screw with the allen key provided, not forgetting to retighten in the new position.
